I am an avid reader. I mean really avid. I can read up to 6 or more books a day. I love books, almost any kind of fiction. When I started following authors on their groups the one question I saw over and over was, "How can I get more readers, increase sales, get the word out about my books?"

I want to help!

I read for pure enjoyment and love of a good story. When I read a book, instead of the words, I see the "movie" in my head. I don't know how to explain it better than that. I put a face to the character, I watch them move and hear them speak. Freaky I know, but that is how I read a book.

Even though I don't have a direct background in marketing, as a web designer, marketing online goes hand in hand with marketing a business. I have a vision, and I hope to use this site to make that vision a reality for the worthy authors out there who work so hard to bring us wonderful books! The site is designed to pass on what I have learned about marketing online, as well as exchange information with others that have had experience with marketing.

My hope for this site is a forum for authors, publishers, readers, anyone with an interest in romance and erotic romance, to come together to share their experiences, practices and knowledge with each other. The promotion part of this site is just to help out the authors so they don't have to break the bank in order to purchase items to give away, sell on their sites, or take to conventions.

I spend a huge amount of time on the Internet and love to get free to almost-free items. I am constantly searching for best prices, best quality, low shipping and good customer service. I make it my business to get the most bang for the buck!

Exchanging information is the best way to gain more information. That brings in the Internet in a big way. There are millions of people on the Internet, how do you reach them? A forum like Book Identity is designed to allow you to actively take part in the information exchange and get your name out there.
